Niagara Golf and Batting Cages (formerly Niagara Sports Practice Centre) has been serving golfers, batters, funseekers, and tourists from around the world since 1992! With its trademark golfer on the white grain tower, to the main mast high above the batting the batting cages, it is a true Niagara landmark.
In January of 2019, Vic and Kelly acquired the business, with a goal of building on the proud legacy established by the previous owners by providing an affordable way to improve your game, unwind from the daily stress of life, and enjoy a fun-filled family outing.
Our goal is to enhance the facility every year. In 2019, we upgraded the driving range by putting in 14 new concrete hitting bays, with new mats and trays, with 4 of the bays featuring SMART Range. With SMART Range, every shot you hit is instantly measured for club speed, ball speed, carry distance and Smash Factor. We also remodeled the clubhouse and washroom facilities. In the summer of 2020, a large new putting green has been completed. In 2022 a shelter was built over top of the mats closest to the clubhouse where the SMART range panels are, to protect players from the sun or rain. In 2023 a new chipping green was added, and brand new for 2024 we now feature SmartRange that provides accurate distances for golfers to improve their accuracy!
Today the facility features grass tees, mat tees, and automated batting cages. Clubs, helmets and bats are provided free of charge.
